Job summary

Kohl’s is seeking an Associate to deliver outstanding customer service at the point of sale and in customer service processes. You will operate a cash register, assist customers, and help maintain inventory accuracy while adhering to Kohl’s brand standards.

Role requires excellent communication, reliability, and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. 16+ and no retail experience required. Competitive pay and benefits vary by full- or part-time status.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred: client facing retail or service experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers by greeting them and assisting with products and services; operate a cash register and handle payments.
• Execute point of sale and customer service standards accurately and efficiently.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (e.g., credit, loyalty).
• Support inventory accuracy through POS and merchandise disposition practices.
• Assist in training new hires on service team processes and Kohl’s brand standards.
• Participate in daily service processes (registers, cash balancing, change orders, replenishment).
• Act with integrity, foster teamwork, and maintain a customer-focused culture.
