DICK'S Sporting Goods in Tampa, FL seeks friendly store associates to assist customers, share product knowledge, and drive loyalty and promotions. You will contribute to a welcoming, safe store atmosphere and support multiple departments to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

The role emphasizes customer-focused service, teamwork, and upholding brand standards while helping customers find the right gear for their sport or activity.

Formación

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up to 35 lbs. occasionally.

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to support their shopping experience.
• Demonstrate ability to genuinely interact with customers to show passion, knowledge, dedication, and commitment in their sport or activity.
• Uphold company standards for merchandise presentation of the best brands in sporting goods; promote company programs (i.e., warranty sales, loyalty program, seasonal promotions).
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (associates & customers) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
• Perform other tasks as necessary, to support the team and the store when business needs arise.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to support their shopping experience

• Demonstrate ability to genuinely interact with customers to show passion, knowledge, dedication, and commitment in their sport or activity

• Uphold company standards for merchandise presentation of the best brands in sporting goods Promote company programs (i.e., warranty sales, loyalty program, seasonal promotions, etc.)

• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (associates & customers) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect

• Perform other tasks as necessary, to support the team and the store when business needs arise

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items occasionally (up to 5 times per hour).

• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.

• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
