Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods in Brandon, FL is seeking a store associate who greets customers, shares passion for sports, and helps shoppers find the right gear. You will promote warranty sales, loyalty programs, seasonal promotions, and maintain merchandise presentation while creating an inclusive, welcoming environment for associates and customers.

This role requires basic customer-service experience and the ability to stand and move around the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to work extended periods standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods (up to 2 hours).

• Uphold company standards for merchandise presentation of the best brands in sporting goods Promote company programs (i.e., warranty sales, loyalty program, seasonal promotions, etc.)

• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (associates & customers) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect

• Perform other tasks as necessary, to support the team and the store when business needs arise

QUALIFICATIONS
