Job summary

Better Together Animal Alliance Thrift Store in Idaho is seeking a dependable, motivated team member to stock and merchandise the retail floor during the evening shift. This seasonal part-time role offers pay of $16.00 per hour and a Monday-Saturday 7:00 PM – 12:00 AM schedule.

You will keep shelves stocked, tag and price items, and help maintain a clean and safe store environment. Retail or stocking experience is a plus, but enthusiasm and reliability are most important; candidates must be 18

• Able to lift, carry, and move merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Retail or stocking experience is a plus, but not required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Stock and merchandise products on the retail sales floor.
• Sort, organize, and prepare merchandise for display.
• Ensure products are priced, tagged, and presented neatly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow store merchandising standards and assist with other tasks as needed.

Position Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Able to lift, carry, and move merchandise as needed.
• Comfortable standing, bending, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
• Retail or stocking experience is a plus, but not required

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to walk and sit and stand; is regularly required to use both hands to make coordinated movements to grasp or type; is regularly required to lift and /or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Proper lifting technique is required.

Work Environment:

This is a fast moving and physically strenuous position. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
