Job Title: Seasonal Cashier/Customer Service Associate

Location: Pocatello, ID 83201, USA ● Store 068, 1107 S 5TH AVE, Pocatello, Idaho, United States of America

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 an hour

Seasonal Cashiers support the store during the busy summer months. These are temporary roles starting mid-May and ending in September. Your role involves ensuring customers have a clean and stocked store to enjoy their journey.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet every customer with a smile, thank them for their business, and invite them back.
2. Provide a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
3. Accurately ring up sales and merchandise, offering discounts/promotions while following company policies and laws regarding restricted sales.
4. Maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
5. Label, rotate, and stock shelves, coolers, and displays properly.
6. Meet physical demands such as standing, lifting, bending, and pulling items.
7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

1. Flexible availability to support a 24/7 operation, including holidays and weekends.
2. Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
3. Excellent communication skills with a friendly attitude.
4. Leadership qualities and integrity.
5. Team player mentality.
6. Knowledge of cashiering in food service or retail is preferred.
7. Ability to think quickly and adapt to change.
8. Legal age to sell regulated products (alcohol, tobacco) and work around slot machines in NV.

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to stand for extended periods.
2. Frequent walking, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 20 pounds; occasional lifting up to 65 pounds.
3. Work in conditions with heat, cold, allergens, noise, and fumes/chemicals.
