Job summary

Music & Arts in California is seeking a seasonal sales associate to help customers rent, purchase and repair instruments and to support a great in-store experience. You will play a key role in our Customer First value and assist customers with product recommendations and the rental process.

The position requires a customer-focused mindset, teamwork, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and some holidays. Starting pay is $17.27/hr; compensation may vary by location and experience.

Skills, Experience and Education

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and some holidays

Preferred

• Familiarity with the school music program and one or more instruments

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand
• Frequently required to walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Occasionally required to sit, climb stairs or a ladde
• Must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds
• The job is typically performed under comfortable working conditions; occasionally required to complete tasks outdoors for short periods of time

Pay Rate

Starting at $17.27/hr
