The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking a customer-focused team member for our South Elgin, IL store. You will deliver exceptional customer service, help maintain a clean and organized store, and support merchandise execution and loss prevention. You may be cross-trained to assist in multiple areas to meet business needs.

Responsibilities include accurately ringing transactions, promoting loyalty programs, and upholding safety and labor standards while contributing to a positive store culture.

Responsibilities

• Role models established customer experience practices with internal and external customers
• Supports and embodies a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect
• Accurately rings customer purchases/returns and counts change back to customer
• Promotes credit and loyalty programs
• Maintains and upholds merchandising philosophy and follows procedures
• Accurately processes and prepares merchandise for the sales floor
• Initiates and participates in store recovery as needed
• Maintains cleanliness and recovery standards for the sales floor
• Provides and accepts recognition and constructive feedback
• Adheres to labor laws, policies, and procedures
• Supports shrink reduction goals and programs
• Participates in safety awareness and maintains a safe environment
• Other duties as assigned
