Job summary

Carter’s, Inc. seeks a Seasonal Associate to greet customers and help them explore our baby and children’s collections in a welcoming, inclusive store environment. You’ll introduce new parents and families to our products while supporting a smooth omnichannel experience.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, processing transactions, replenishing floor stock, and promoting current promotions and loyalty benefits. Availability for days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail customer service is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Willingness to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits.
• Confidently and proactively resolve issues for customers in a busy retail environment.
• Meet customer needs by assisting with omnichannel as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point of sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed.
• Articulate current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
