Job summary

Carter’s is hiring a Seasonal Associate to welcome customers, showcase baby essentials, and assist families with school preparations. You’ll be the first face of the brand and contribute to a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities include helping customers with product features, processing transactions, replenishing shelves, and promoting promotions and loyalty programs, while upholding store standards and safety at all times.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or demonstrated engagement skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Capability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with product features and benefits.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and balance multiple customers in a busy setting.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Process point-of-sale transactions efficiently.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed.
• Explain current promotions and the loyalty program to customers.
• Maintain store cleanliness and minimize loss through attentive service.
