Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a Retail Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales on the shop floor. You will assist customers with product questions, demonstrate merchandise, and provide recommendations while maintaining visual standards and safety throughout the store.

In this role, you will efficiently process transactions at the register, assist with inventory management, and support the store leadership team in meeting daily goals.

Qualifications

• NO specific education required; High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years or less experience in a retail/sales position or specialization.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing consumer questions and issues about product features, benefits, and availability.
• Engage with customers to determine needs and preferences and make suitable product recommendations.
• Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety; restock and retrieve merchandise as needed.
• Handle all cash register transactions efficiently and accurately, including sales, returns and exchanges.
• Contribute to store profitability by managing product flow and inventory accurately and efficiently.
