Job summary

Columbia Sportswear Company is hiring for a Retail Associate. You will serve as a brand ambassador, delivering exceptional in-store experiences through positive customer interactions and product recommendations.

You will support the Store Leadership team in line with Columbia’s mission of connecting active people with their passions. Responsibilities include assisting customers, maintaining visual standards, handling cash transactions, and contributing to inventory control.

Qualifications

• No specific education required (High School Diploma or GED preferred).
• 2 (or less) years of experience in a position or specialization.
• Skill operating Inventory and POS systems, and various other retail software tools.
• 16 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service by responding to consumer questions or issues and assisting with product selections.
• Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety; retrieve merchandise from sales floor or stock room.
• Perform all required cash register transactions (sales, returns, exchanges, loyalty connections) accurately and efficiently.
• Contribute to store profitability by handling, replenishing, and processing product flow in the stores.
