Job summary

Neiman Marcus is seeking a Restaurant Bartender to welcome guests and provide high‑quality beverage service in a fast‑paced luxury dining environment. You will use your knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits to explain options and make recommendations while maintaining professionalism and accuracy with the POS system.

Key duties include serving customers graciously, assisting with menu information, supporting bar operations, and ensuring cleanliness and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in serving food and beverage and following proper table service guidelines.

You Will Be

The Restaurant Bartender serves Neiman Marcus customers in a warm, accommodating, and professional manner consistent to the high standards set by Neiman Marcus.

What You Will Do

• Serves and interacts with customers in a professional and gracious manner
• Utilizes thorough knowledge of food, including preparation and culinary terminology, to provide detailed information to customers about menu items
• Supports smooth staff delivery of bar items through use of POS / ticket systems
• Leverages thorough knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits, including technical and service procedures
• Participates in daily pre-shift meeting
• Adheres to established accounting procedures for all transactions, including all authorized methods of payment and maintains knowledge of the POS system
• Cleans and maintains restaurant and workstation including pre-shift, post-shift and daily and weekly duties as assigned by the Manager
• Fulfills duties that may involve lifting objects (e.g., tables, chairs, highchairs, etc.)
• Maintains the highest level of hygiene standards to include, but not limited to:
• Clean, pressed uniform jacket and accompanying clothing and shoes
• Clean and professionally styled hair and nails, maintained to avoid food contamination risks

• Role requires standing, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting and carrying 35 pounds

Salary Range $22.03 - $27.54*

Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
