The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) performs designated Respiratory Care and Pulmonary diagnostic procedures, under the supervision of a Respiratory Care Coordinator or designee, in accordance with protocols and procedures established by the department and hospital, in the treatment, management, control, diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients with deficiencies and abnormalities associated with the cardiopulmonary system. The Respiratory Care services include, but are not limited to, the following activities performed upon physician order:
These procedures are performed in critical care and non-critical care areas, on patients of all ages, in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital.
Licensed or Certified as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Florida.
One year experience required.
