Kindred Hospital Lima, a ScionHealth facility, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a Seasonal Staffing program in Lima, Ohio. The role covers safe delivery of respiratory care, ventilator management, patient assessment, and education, with potential for change to full-time/part-time based on openings.

The position is on-site, requires NBRC credentials, BLS/ACLS, and a minimum of 1 year experience preferred.

Formación

• Ability to work under stress in emergencies.
• Interacts effectively with healthcare team and patients.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver Respiratory Care procedures per physician orders.
• Monitor mechanical ventilation and ABG results; document care.
• Educate patients and families; participate in rounds and in-services.
• Assist in tracheostomy care, suctioning, and airway management.
• Assist in orientation and training of new staff and students.
