Responsibilities

• Deliver competent respiratory care per physician orders and hospital policies.
• Document procedures and manage patient care plans.
• Verify physician orders and monitor ventilation devices.
• Operate oxygen delivery, airway devices, and ventilation equipment.
• Assist in airway management and airway device changes as needed.
• Provide patient and family education and participate in rounds.
