Job summary

Tampa General Hospital's InterHealth Staffing is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for seasonal 13-week assignments at TGH Brooksville. You will administer pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic respiratory care per physician orders, and monitor patient responses to treatments.

Responsibilities include documenting orders, coordinating with care teams, and prioritizing patient safety in a busy clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Approved Respiratory Therapy Program with a Diploma or AAS Degree.
• Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
• Licensed by the state of Florida as a Respiratory Care Professional (CRT or RRT). Current BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS and/or American Heart Airway Management certification.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory care treatments and diagnostic procedures as prescribed by a physician.
• Transcribe and implement physician orders related to respiratory care.
• Assess patient condition, monitor responses, and adjust treatments as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure safe and effective patient care.
