Job summary

Club Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort in Lake Buena Vista, FL is hiring a Seasonal, Part Time Lifeguard. You will monitor the pool area for safety and respond to incidents, providing medical attention or water rescues as needed.

Certification in Red Cross Deep Water Lifeguard, CPR/First Aid, or Water Safety is required or obtainable. The role requires strong communication, the ability to work well with guests and staff, and a professional appearance; benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Certified or ability to become certified: Red Cross Deep Water Lifeguard, CPR / First Aid certified, and/or Water Safety.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Strong ability to communicate effective with employees, guest and owners.
• Possess ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• A professional appearance and positive, can-do attitude with team focus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the pool and surrounding areas. Ensure that the pool area is safe and secure at all times. Communicate with guests to make them aware of the safety rules of the pool area(s).
• Provide medical attention and conduct water rescues if necessary.
• Assist with resort activities and events in the pool area.
