Job summary

Wilmot Mountain, part of Vail Resorts, seeks a seasonal Content Specialist to capture and create engaging photo and video content for resort marketing. You will manage social media, develop storytelling assets, and support PR distribution aligned with brand guidelines.

Ideal candidates have content creation, copywriting and design experience, comfort with shoots and editing, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Communications, Journalism or Marketing.
• Strong storytelling and copywriting skills.
• Eye for visual design with ability to capture photo/video assets.
• MS Office 365, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel knowledge.
• Fluent English in speaking and writing.

Responsibilities

• Assist with social and digital media content ideation, creation, posting, community management and reporting.
• Independently shoot, edit and publish multimedia content under tight deadlines.
• Maintain a content production calendar and cadence for messaging needs.
• Create multimedia content for social media, digital, video, blogs, CRM and campaigns.
• Collaborate with resort communications to align messaging with brand voice.
• Help with large resort brand photo and video shoots and contracted partners.
• Support second resort social channels and contractor collaboration on content planning.
