Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring a part-time, seasonal Content Specialist at Mt Brighton for winter 2026/2027. The role focuses on capturing timely photo and video content from the resort experience to fuel marketing channels and social media.

You will co-manage the resort’s social media, assist with storytelling and copywriting, coordinate photoshoots with contracted photographers and models, edit assets, and ensure content aligns with brand guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism or Marketing preferred
• Strong storytelling and copywriting skills
• Eye for visual design; ability to capture photo and video
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Excel
• Knowledge of social media platforms; Sprout Social a plus
• Fluent in English; skiing ability a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with social and digital content ideation, creation, posting, community management
• Independently capture, shoot, edit and publish multimedia content under deadlines
• Maintain a content production calendar (Asana, Sprout Social)
• Create multimedia content for social, digital, video, blogs, CRM, and campaigns
• Use storytelling to bring the resorts’ brands to life across platforms
• Organize and lead resort photo and video shoots with contracted staff
• Collaborate with communications team to align messaging with brand
• Support additional PR storytelling needs as required
• Handle content distribution and asset management
