Your Role as a Rental Yard Laborer: In this position, your day revolves around maintaining tools and equipment for rental, ensuring everything is in top condition for our customers. Your day will include:

1. Inspecting and maintaining rental equipment (fueling, checking battery levels, inspecting cords and locks on trailers, etc.)
2. Loading/unloading equipment and trailers for customers
3. Communicating with customers and other employees over the phone, through email, and in person
4. Delivering and picking up equipment using a pickup truck and trailer
5. Keeping the yard organized and clear of debris
6. Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by adhering to and striving to improve safety standards and reporting any suspicious activity
7. Completing related tasks as assigned

We're Looking For Someone Who:

1. Has a valid driver's license and clean driving record and the ability to drive a pickup and trailer combo
2. Is able to effectively and professionally communicate with customers and other Acme Tools employees
3. Enjoys working outdoors in all seasons
4. Is available to work Saturdays

Physical Requirements:

1. Lift up to 70 lbs.
2. Stand and walk on a hard surface for the majority of your shift
3. Bend, squat, pull, push, and reach throughout your shift
