Job summary

Howard Head Sports Medicine in Vail, Colorado, is hiring a Seasonal Registered Nurse for the Patient Care Unit (PCU) on the Night Shift. This full-time, 12-hour shift runs October through April as part of the ski-season schedule.

You will provide compassionate bedside care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and support an orthopedic-focused caseload. BLS is required and an ASN/ADN is preferred for hires after 2018.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient- and family-centered care.
• Experience in PCU or Med-Surg nursing preferred.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care in the PCU with 12-hour night shifts.

Seasonal Registered Nurse – Patient Care Unit (PCU) | Night Shift

In this seasonal position (October/November – April) you will have the opportunity to embrace the winter wonderland of Vail, Colorado with world-class skiing/snowboarding and the vibrant atmosphere of a top notch hospital with a strong orthopedic case load. Our seasonal staff are eligible for Vail Health supported housing, season completion bonus, health insurance, wellness reimbursement credit ($300) and 403(b) retirement contribution eligibility.

What We’re Looking For:

• Education: Minimum of an Associate Nursing Degree (for positions hired after 07/01/2018)
