Omni Amelia Island Resort & Spa is seeking a seasonal Recreation Intern to oversee craft bar, pool and beach rentals experiences, supervise the recreation attendants, engage guests, and help create memorable vacation moments. Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
• Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 100lbs. on a regular and continuing basis
• Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill lifting task

Responsibilities

• Open and close procedures of camp room and craft bar
• Take guest reservations for camp and craft experiences
• Host and assist execution of daily craft offerings, camp themes
• Supervise craft attendants, camp counselors and mentor staff while upholding company culture
• Inspect areas daily for cleanliness and safety hazards and report findings
• Assist in preparing weekly staff schedules and staffing needs
• Act as Recreation's Supervisor on Duty when scheduled
• Assist in monthly team meetings and trainings
• Assist in researching and brainstorming new programming
• Assist in all other aspects of the recreation department as needed
