Seasonal Recreation Aide/Assistant (Pool Lifeguard)

Responsibilities include ensuring pool safety, enforcing rules, conducting safety inspections, and providing water safety instruction. Candidates must possess current Lifeguard, CPR/First Aid certifications, and meet all federal employment suitability requirements.

Minimum Requirements
  • Must meet federal suitability, background checks, and fingerprinting requirements.
  • Successful completion of background investigation and E-Verify check.
  • Go through a Personal Identity Verification (PIV) process with two forms of ID from Form I-9.
  • Valid State driver's license required.
  • Direct deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer for salary.
  • Reside within 50 miles of 32233 at application time.
  • Current Lifeguard, CPR/First Aid certifications (upload proof).
Qualifications

Experience and/or education demonstrating knowledge, skills, and abilities related to lifeguarding, pool safety, and waterfront operations. Specific experience includes:

  • At least six months of lifeguarding experience for NF-0189-02 level.
  • Knowledge of safety rules, hazard identification, emergency response, chemical testing, and communication skills.

Volunteer and part-time experience are considered. Your resume must detail your duties, dates, and hours worked.

Additional Information
