What You Will Do

All Lowe’s associates deliver quality customer service while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Seasonal Associate, this involves:

• Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly to customer and associate needs.
• Ensuring merchandise is stocked and presented appropriately for customers.
• Engaging in safe work practices and encouraging others to do the same.

The Seasonal Associate may hold positions such as Assembler, Receiver/Stocker, Customer Service Associate (CSA) - Sales Floor, CSA Loader, or CSA Front End, typically in a temporary capacity. All roles support Lowe’s mission by providing excellent customer service, including greeting customers, responding to inquiries, and assisting with locating, selecting, demonstrating, preparing, or loading merchandise. Specific responsibilities vary by role, such as assembling merchandise (Assembler), stocking (Receiver/Stocker), loading merchandise (CSA Loader), assisting customers (CSA Sales Floor), or processing sales and returns (CSA Front End). This list is not exhaustive, and associates may be asked to perform other duties as needed. Applicants may be considered for any of these roles depending on store needs.

Travel Requirements: This role generally does not require travel but may occasionally involve traveling to meetings, training sessions, or other stores.

What We're Looking For

• Hourly Seasonal: Typically scheduled for 10 to 40 hours per week; additional hours may be required based on store needs.
• Availability for morning, afternoon, and evening shifts any day of the week, with Receiver/Stocker roles requiring late evening, night, and early morning availability.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, sitting, and lifting.
• Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds without assistance (over 25 pounds with assistance, except CSA Front End).
• Must be able to lift at least 10 pounds without assistance (over 10 pounds with assistance, only for CSA Front End).

What You Need To Succeed

Minimum Qualifications

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
• CSAs (Loader, Front-End, and Sales Floor): At least 6 months of experience with computers (inputting, accessing, modifying, outputting data) and handheld devices (e.g., mobile phones, scanners, tablets).

Preferred Qualifications

• Assembler & Receiver/Stocker: 3 months of experience operating forklift or similar equipment.
• CSAs: 6 months of retail experience, including customer interaction, product knowledge, and issue resolution.

If required by local regulations, applicants must obtain or pass a salesperson license within 60 days of employment.
