Job summary

Bartlett's Farm on Nantucket, MA is seeking a Receiver for the 2027 summer season. This non-exempt, seasonal position assists in inventory management and ensures customer satisfaction in line with Farm policies.

Primary tasks include receiving products, verifying quantities, maintaining receiving areas, and coordinating with the Receiving Supervisor to handle damaged items and transfers. Must be able to stand long periods and lift up to 50 lbs; basic Excel knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work independently.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic knowledge of Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives market, gift, kitchen, and Farm products and all general merchandise.
• Uses receiving software to ensure quantity accuracy and product quality and checks code date/temperature.
• Works with Receiving Supervisor on damaged products, returns, shortages, overages, credits, and transfers.
• Maintains back room, loading dock, basement, and receiving area cleanliness and organization.
• Expedites and prioritizes incoming product and ensures smooth flow from door to floor across departments.
