Job summary

Knife River - North Central is seeking a seasonal team member to safely sample and test crushed stone, aggregates, sand, asphalt, ready mix, or gravel to specifications. Typical hours are Monday–Friday, with some Saturdays, in Sauk Rapids, MN.

The role requires high school or GED, ability to operate testing equipment (nuclear densometer), and commitment to safety. Travel to designated locations may be required; benefits are offered with the seasonal position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; OSHA/EPA awareness preferred.
• Experience in construction materials testing is a plus.
• Willingness to travel and stay safe on site.

Responsibilities

• Test and inspect products at various production stages.
• Record data and compile statistical quality reports.
• Conduct finished and in-process inspections and testing.
• Maintain lab and equipment; ensure safe, compliant operations.
