Job summary

Primo Brands in Hot Springs, AR is seeking a Seasonal Production Technician to support demand during our busy season. This full-time, night-shift role offers $20.00 per hour plus a 6%–8% shift differential for eligible hours, with a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

You will troubleshoot water processing and sanitation equipment, assist with bottling and QA testing, and help ensure compliance and quality KPIs across the line. Prior lab exposure and teamwork are desirable.

Qualifications

• College level education desired in a related area.
• Experience performing basic laboratory procedures is preferred.
• Exposure to QA or production in a beverage facility is a plus.

Responsibilities

Are you looking for an exciting seasonal opportunity? Primo Brands is looking for a Seasonal Production Technician to support customer demand. This role is full-time during our “busy season” which will vary year to year. If you would like to have some extra income, please read on:

Factory Location: Hot Springs, AR

Compensation: $20.00 / hour

Shift Differential: Additional 6%-8% of the base hourly rate for eligible hours worked.

Schedule: Night shift, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM, following a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot basic water processing functionality: pumps, valves, piping, etc.
• Troubleshoot water sanitation equipment: CIP system, etc.
• Support water bottling and packaging processes, primarily QA and food safety testing
• Ensure all lines and all processes are validated according to compliance standards
• Complete basic laboratory testing: pH, turbidity, conductivity, etc.
• Plating of micro samples
• Create spiked samples to test proficiency
• Daily review of quality data from operators
• Manage water sensory (taste and odor) evaluations
• Adhere to site safety and quality KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
• Support site and corporate quality initiatives
• Communicate results, deviations, and improvement plans to co-workers and other team members
• Provide QA training support for QA operators

Qualifications

• College level education desired, relevant pursuit of study in a related area a plus
• Prior experience performing basic laboratory procedures
• Exposure to Quality Assurance or Production in a food or beverage processing facility is preferred but not required
• Ability to work self-directed and with a team
• Solid communication and interpersonal skills with experience working in a team-based environment
• Experience with sanitation and microbiological control systems preferred
• Familiarity with food safety and food defense requirements, audit and regulatory environments, microbiological testing, MI and other manufacturing control systems
• Ability to interact with various internal contacts to manage the flow of work
• Exposure to Fluid processing and the principles of sanitation science
• Understanding of good manufacturing practices and HACCP principles
• Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft applications, SAP experience a plus
• Focus on safe work practices and high quality while executing duties with a sense of urgency
• Ability to troubleshoot and make independent decisions related to quality and operation excellence
• Ability to move/lift 40 lbs and stand on your feet for long periods of time throughout the day
