Job summary

American Heritage Companies seeks a Production Assistant to support the technical and creative needs of our productions for the THE POLAR EXPRESS Train Ride in Branson, MO. The role requires knowledge of QLab, basic audio and lighting support, and the ability to assist in playback, queuing, and troubleshooting during rehearsals and live performances.

The ideal candidate will help with lighting maintenance, cable management, and ensuring fixtures work properly.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of QLab.
• Experience with computer networking hardware and software.
• Ability to work as a team member in an ever-changing environment.
• Self-motivation, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair the audio systems during the event.
• Assist with lighting systems as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to incorporate last-minute changes during rehearsals.
• Maintain sound designs with artistic integrity throughout the event.
• Assist with setup and strike of equipment.
• Ensure safety policies are followed.
• Work with the event team to create a positive environment for staff and passengers.
• Other duties as assigned.
