Job summary

Vail Health in Dillon, CO is seeking a Seasonal Registered Nurse for the PreOp/PACU at Dillon Surgery Center. This role supports patient care before and after surgery, works with a skilled perioperative team, and participates in delivering compassionate, evidence-based nursing.

Qualifications

• One-year clinical experience required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Colorado or a valid compact state.
• Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support certifications.

Responsibilities

• Oversees patient flow to optimize care, safety and satisfaction.
• Triages incoming patient requests for services and educates patients.
• Delivers nursing care before and after procedures and coordinates with the care team.
• Delegates care appropriately and demonstrates strong assessment and critical thinking.
• Communicates effectively with patients, families and other providers.
