Job summary

Walla Walla Nursery Co. is seeking a Phase II Technician to support the rooting and establishment of cuttings through to weaning and delivery to the next stage. You will assist with propagation, pruning, irrigation, and inventory reporting, under the guidance of the Phase II Supervisor.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, strong communication, basic computer and math skills, and the ability to work with automated systems. This is a full-time seasonal position in Washington.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication skills in writing and speaking.
• Basic computer and math abilities.
• Horticulture knowledge a plus but not required.
• Good time management and prioritization.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail.
• Adaptable and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Assist in propagation phase II from rooting to weaning.
• Prune, weed, space plants to promote health.
• Provide nutrients and irrigation per guidelines.
• Operate automation (iGrow consoles, fog, booms, vents) under supervision.
• Prepare liners for weaning and document inventory changes.
• Report pests or disease.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
