Job summary

Logan Health in Kalispell, MT is seeking an RN for a 13-week Seasonal Progressive Care Unit assignment. The role involves caring for high-acuity cardiac, respiratory, renal, and medical patients with advanced monitoring needs.

Qualified candidates will have a Montana RN license or compact eligibility and at least 2 years in a similar critical care setting. Nights, team-based care, and a fast-paced environment are expected.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license or compact license eligibility.
• 2+ years of Critical Care experience.
• ACLS & NIHSS certification preferred.
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements and coordinates individualized nursing care using the nursing process for the assigned area.
• Maintains nursing standards of care and adapts to changing workloads.
• Transcribes and implements provider orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintains infection control procedures.
• Documents patient interactions according to standards and HIPAA guidelines.
• Provides patient and family education per department protocol.
