Job Description

Provide elevated customer service in a high energy and fast-paced environment. Maintain a positive attitude with guests and co-workers while accurately operating a point of sale system and fulfilling food and beverage orders efficiently. Perform opening and closing duties for all scheduled events.

Responsibilities

• Maintain excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards guests, customers, and co-workers.
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, requesting identification, and adhering to all alcohol service policies.
• Serve food and beverage items following proper sanitation guidelines; may include preparing, cooking, or assembling food.
• Record transactions accurately via the POS system and process payments, including credit cards and meal plans.
• Follow cash handling policies and procedures.
• Ensure the concession area is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
• Participate in setup, opening, and closing procedures; manage inventory and report shortages.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards, including cleaning equipment.
• Ensure security of company assets.
• Follow company rules and regulations and assist other departments as needed.
• Comply with all applicable policies, laws, and regulations.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; related experience or training preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Food Handler’s certificate from San Diego County preferred.
• 21+ years old and able to obtain Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and apply common sense.
• Manual dexterity for operating equipment and utensils.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in various environmental conditions.

Work Conditions

Work is performed in food production areas, outdoors, and in varying weather conditions. Exposure to noise, chemicals, and moving parts is possible.
