Job summary

The Town of Shenandoah is seeking a Part-Time General Maintenance Worker (Seasonal) to perform mowing, weed-eating and general water, sewer and street maintenance. Approximately 24 hours per week, or as needed. Outdoor work in all weather; must be able to walk rough terrain, up and down stairs, and climb ladders.

Must hold a valid driver’s license. A background check and drug test are required prior to employment. Starting pay is $15.00 per hour; no benefits.

Qualifications

• Must hold current driver’s license.
• Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs.
• Position works outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to walk rough terrain, stairs, and climb ladders.
