Job Overview

The Seasonal Warehouse Material Handler is responsible for fulfilling customer orders by retrieving and stacking specific products and quantities as specified on the pick ticket or computer screen, using a pre-determined conveyor and/or pallet. This involves traveling throughout the warehouse’s pick area and building stable pallets of product, meeting or exceeding safety, accuracy, and efficiency expectations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Retrieve and place quantities of cases onto a pallet as instructed, ensuring safety and stability, and meeting warehouse standards.
• Transport pallets within the warehouse using a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) such as a Pallet Jack, safely and efficiently.
• Assist in warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping as needed.
• Perform daily PIT Checklist and report any issues to management.
• Correct mistakes as identified by the checker regarding product or quantity.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, walking and lifting up to 30 lbs repeatedly.
• Lift up to 75 lbs as required.

Minimum Qualifications

Work Environment

Work in a noisy, non-temperature-controlled environment (hot in summer, cold in winter).
