The Parks and Recreation Department of the Town of Brunswick seeks candidates for Seasonal Parks Maintenance Workers. Seasonal positions are temporary and will be up to 40 hours per week with an end date of Oct 31 st (non-benefit eligible). Flexible work week schedules are available. Some positions will include Saturdays and Sundays.
Duties: Mowing, upkeep, and daily cleanup of a variety of park areas; athletic field preparation; painting; securing park gates; trash pickup; and support of special events.
Requirements: Must be able to operate small power hand tools and riding mower; able to lift and carry 50 pounds; must have driver's license with a good driving record.
Criminal and driving background checks will be conducted for final candidates. Steel- toed work boots are required. The pay for this position is $19.75per hour.
