The City of Tukwila is seeking Seasonal Parks Maintenance Workers to support Parks & Recreation operations. This temporary, seasonal role covers routine and event-related projects during a high-activity period; flexibility to work varying schedules as needs change.

Applicants must be available for the full season; those unable to commit will not be considered. The position is seasonal/temporary and PERS eligible, not exceeding 1040 hours in a 12-month period.

Formación

• Must be able to perform physically demanding outdoor work.
• Must possess valid Washington State Driver's License or equivalent.
• Able to work with limited supervision and comply with safety rules.
• Weekend work and varying shifts may be required.

Responsabilidades

• Trash pickup and site tidying at park areas.
• Set up and teardown of shelter rentals for events.
• Basic janitorial duties for park facilities.
• Support landscape maintenance tasks ( mowing, edging, debris removal ).
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
