York County Parks seeks part-time seasonal staff to support Christmas Magic, a 40+-year light show drawing 40,000+ visitors from PA and nearby states. Work includes setup Sept–Nov, evening show hours after Thanksgiving through Dec 30th, with flexible hours and potential for renewal.
Assigned duties include stringing lights, decorating, admissions booth operations, and trail walking to ensure smooth operations.
Each year, York County Parks' employs part-time, seasonal positions to assist full-time staff with Christmas Magic. Christmas Magic is a spectacular walk-through light show. This memorable 40+-year tradition attracts over 40,000 visitors each year from PA and surrounding states. Positions are available for setting up lights and props from the beginning of September until the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and/or working evenings of the show from the day after Thanksgiving through December 30th. Hours are flexible.

September – December 30th. The position is approved for only that calendar year & subject to normal hiring practices, usually during summer months, with potential for renewal into the next year. Position hours will not exceed 999 per year.
