Job summary

Santa’s Village Inc in Jefferson, NH is seeking a Parking Lot Attendant who directs vehicle traffic and assists guests with parking while performing seasonal grounds and maintenance tasks.

Seasonal duties include lawn care, landscaping, and outdoor upkeep in spring through fall. During Christmastime, duties may involve snow and ice removal and ensuring safe walkways. This role requires outdoor work and strong guest service skills.

Qualifications

• Must possess a courteous and friendly rapport with guests and co-workers.
• Have strong interpersonal/communication skills in verbal and written language.
• Understand importance of wearing gloves, safety glasses, ear protection, and other PPE.
• Able to learn the proper way to check and fill gas and oil in equipment.

Responsibilities

• Direct vehicle traffic and assist guests with parking safely and efficiently.
• Monitor parking areas for safety and respond promptly to changing conditions.
• Perform lawn mowing, trimming, landscaping, watering, weeding, and outdoor maintenance.
• Shovel, salt, and assist with snow and ice removal during winter/Christmastime operations.
• Pick up litter and sort recyclable materials from parking and grounds areas.
• Safely operate lawn mowers, trimmers, and other equipment after training.
• Check and fill fuel and oil in equipment after training.
• Greet guests courteously, answer questions, and provide assistance as needed.
• Provide lunch, break, or coverage in other departments as needed.
