Job summary

Anoka County Parks is hiring a Seasonal Associate Park Services Specialist to deliver excellent customer service and safety information at multiple regional parks in Minnesota. The role supports park operations, greeting guests, managing facilities, and assisting with visitor services across varied shifts.

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, aiding campground operations, and addressing guest concerns while maintaining a safe, welcoming environment for park visitors.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Successfully pass a criminal history and driver’s license background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide Park guests with excellent customer service and information regarding public safety and protection of parks properties and natural resources.
• Oversee and assist park operations by greeting guests, providing supplies, opening/closing facilities, and replenishing funds for park facilities.
• Assist operations at visitor centers, gatehouses, cross country skiing and campground operations.
• Respond to daily operation problems; troubleshoot or contact supervisor for assistance.
• Respond to emergency situations such as severe weather or medical incidents and ensure guest safety.
• Receive, mediate, and resolve customer complaints or concerns.
