The City of Caldwell Parks Department is seeking four Seasonal Maintenance Specialist I to join their outdoor parks team for the busy season. This is a seasonal, non-benefit position running about 7-8 months with a 40-hour work week.

The role performs manual park maintenance, plants trees and grass, mows, waters, trims, cleans beds, and operates basic hand and power tools under supervision. Candidates must be prepared for outdoor work in varying weather.

Responsabilidades

• Plants trees, bushes, a variety of plants, and grass.
• Mows, waters, and rakes grass.
• Trims fence lines and banks of drainage ditches.
• Cleans litter and debris; empties park garbage cans and hauls waste.
• Uses hand tools (picks, shovels, rakes) and operates power equipment (chainsaws, edgers, mowers).
• Informs supervisor of repairs and maintenance needs.
• Cleans and weeds flower beds and mulches around flowers.
