Job summary

Schaumburg Park District is seeking workers for its Seasonal Park Maintenance team in Schaumburg, IL. You will work in pairs or with a crew performing mowing, weeding, mulching, tree work, and ballfield upkeep.

Responsibilities include seasonal park cleanup, park and field renovations, and setting up for major events. Applicants must be at least 18 with an Illinois driver’s license; training is provided and physical endurance is required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Illinois driver’s license.
• Prior park maintenance experience is helpful but not required; training will be provided.
• Must have the physical ability to perform essential duties (exposure to dirt, dust, and debris).

Responsibilities

• Perform mowing, weeding, mulching, tree work, and ballfield maintenance.
• Assist with seasonal park cleanup, park and field renovations, and event set-up/teardown.
