Job summary

U.S. Department of the Interior is seeking a FUL - Educational Technician (Seasonal) to deliver education programs in classrooms and in the park, as well as via distance learning channels, primarily for school, youth and other organized groups.

Anticipated entry on duty is November–December 2026. The position involves developing proactive programs, maintaining professional dialogue with partners, and may require travel by government vehicle to remote areas.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
• Appointment subject to background investigation and favorable adjudication.
• Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing education programs in classrooms and in the park, including distance learning.
• Track and record statistics for the Education & Outreach Programs.
• Answer queries from students, teachers and the general public regarding park resources and education programs.
• Perform administrative work indoors to develop and prepare for programs.
• Travel by government vehicle to remote areas with winding roads.
