Job summary

Physicians Regional Medical Center – Pine Ridge in Naples, FL is seeking Seasonal Registered Nurses (RN) to join a supportive team. The role includes PACU responsibilities with possible lead/charge duties depending on experience.

You will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, collaborate with physicians and the care team, and educate patients and families on post-operative care.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting.
• RN license in state or compact state.
• BCLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes to care team.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans.
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in CPR when needed.
• Educate patients and families on post-surgery care and discharge instructions.
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure patient safety.
• Document care promptly in the medical record.
