Job summary

Physicians Regional Medical Center - Collier campus in Naples, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse in the PACU to deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process and evidence-based protocols. The role collaborates with physicians, nurses, and the care team to ensure safe, efficient recovery for postoperative patients.

The RN will administer medications, monitor vital signs and respiratory status, and provide education to patients and families while maintaining compliance with safety

Qualifications

• RN licensure in good standing with state board.
• BCLS certification required at hire; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and document findings.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process from assessment to evaluation.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects.
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to develop and adjust care plans.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in code team activities as needed.
• Educate patients and families on post‑operative care and discharge instructions.
• Ensure infection control and safety protocols are followed.
