Who are casual UPS Package Delivery Drivers?

They drive our familiar brown trucks, delivering packages of all sizes to customers. They are friendly, physically active, and enjoy fast-paced outdoor work behind the wheel.

SHIFT YOUR SKILLS

Requirements to succeed in this role include:

• Lifting up to 70 lbs
• Valid driver’s license (no CDL required, license type varies by state)
• Passing the DOT physical
• Excellent customer service and driving skills
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
• Compliance with UPS appearance guidelines and wearing the company-provided uniform

Full-time employees work 8-10 hours daily, with workdays typically Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday, depending on business needs.

This is a seasonal role, which can be a great starting point at UPS. It may lead to a permanent position with additional benefits. Permanent drivers earn an average total compensation of $145,000 per year, including healthcare, paid vacations, holidays, sick leave, and option days.
