Casual Package Delivery Driver

Who are UPS Casual Package Delivery Drivers?

They drive our familiar brown trucks, delivering packages of all sizes to customers. They are friendly, physically active individuals who enjoy fast-paced work, being outdoors, and behind the wheel.

Requirements to succeed in this role include:

• The ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
• A valid driver’s license—no CDL required (license type varies by state).
• Passing the DOT physical.
• Excellent customer service and driving skills.
• Legal right to work in the U.S.
• Compliance with UPS appearance guidelines and wearing the company-provided uniform.

Full-time casual drivers work 8-10 hours daily, with workdays varying (Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday) based on business needs.

*This is a seasonal role, which can be a great starting point at UPS and may lead to a permanent position with additional benefits. Permanent drivers earn an average total compensation of $145,000 annually, including healthcare, paid vacation, holidays, sick leave, and pension contributions.
