Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality is hiring a guest‑driven Server for a seasonal opportunity at the Renaissance Newport Beach pool bar. You will craft beverages and deliver friendly service, greeting guests and ensuring they feel welcome from arrival to departure.

Responsibilities include taking orders, upselling the menu, stocking supplies, and collaborating with kitchen/bar staff to ensure a smooth service. Prior bartending/serving experience and ability to lift up to 75 lbs are required.

Qualifications

• Prior bartending/serving experience required.
• Ability to understand verbal English to comprehend basic guest requests.
• Ability to understand written English to read any caution or safety notices.
• Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry up to 75 lbs; move up to 200 lbs with a cart.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests as they arrive or move about the pool area.
• Adhere to standards set forth by management and company.
• Guide guests through descriptive selling of the menu.
• Be accurate in order taking, confirming all special requests.
• Work collaboratively with other servers and kitchen/bar staff.
• Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy.
• Finalize the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation.
• Requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits and supplies.
