Job summary

DICK'S Sporting Goods, Inc. is seeking a store teammate to deliver exceptional shopping experiences and assist athletes with their needs. You will greet customers, support omnichannel fulfillment, and uphold merchandising standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Prior retail or customer-focused experience is preferred; you should be able to stand, walk, and lift moderate weights during shifts while maintaining safety and confidentiality. A collaborative team is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Prior retail sales, operations, maintenance, or customer-focused experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs repetitively.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work at heights up to 4 feet.

Responsibilities

• Greet teammates and customers; proactively support shopping experiences.
• Ensure merchandise and product receipts are processed per programs and procedures.
• Uphold merchandising and presentation standards and service level expectations.
• Support omni fulfillment processes: Ship From Store, BOPIS, curbside pickup.
• Participate in loss prevention and safety procedures; maintain confidentiality.
• Contribute to a welcoming store environment and assist across the team as needed.

OVERVIEW

• Our store teammates are passionate about creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers through their eagerness to help, high brand and execution standards, ability to prioritize and efficient execution of operational processes.
• Greet everyone (teammates and customers) and proactively approach athletes to understand their needs and support their shopping experience.
• Ensure that all merchandise and product received at the store is processed in accordance with established programs and procedures.
• Uphold company merchandising and presentation standards.
• Fulfill the company-defined customer experience by completing all processes according to ourservice level standards.
• Assists in completion of all omni fulfillment processes, including: Ship From Store 9SFS), Buy Online Pickup in Stor(e BOPIS), and Curbside pick-up.
• Participate in Loss Prevention procedures related to Omni-Channel processes; assist in completing daily FedEx Box Count Audits according to company Inventory Control and Loss Prevention standards.
• Adhere to established policies and procedures related to safety, loss prevention and standard operating procedures.
• Maintains confidentiality of all Company information.
• Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (teammates and customers) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
• Take an all-hands-on-deck approach to support the team across the store.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS

Prior retail sales, operations, maintenance, or customer-focused experience preferred

• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift up 15 to 35 lbs. items repetitively (up to 25 times per hour).
• Ability to work extended periods of time (up to 4 hours) standing or walking.
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with use of a ladder, aerial lifting device, or platform.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods of time (up to 2 hours continuously).
