Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club is seeking a Seasonal OR Certified Surgical Tech to join our surgical team. This temporary seasonal position supports the OR team, prepares instruments, and collaborates with surgeons and nurses to ensure patient safety and efficient procedures.

The role requires entry-level to experienced scrub tech capabilities, BLS certification, and the ability to work across multiple specialties as part of a collaborative OR team in Trophy Club, TX.

Qualifications

• Completion of an appropriate surgical technician program or previous surgical technician experience of at least two years.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Licensure/Certification: Prior verifiable experience as a scrub technician in the OR setting prior to 2009 or Certification in OR Technology as a (C-SA or C-ST).

Responsibilities

• Scrubs for surgical procedures under direct supervision of Nursing Director.
• Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.
• Experienced in supporting in specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology.
