Job summary

Vail Health is hiring a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room for seasonal, full-time schedules in Vail, CO. This role supports orthopedics and uses advanced surgical technology to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

Candidates must have an active Colorado RN license or compact state license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, and one year OR experience; strong English language skills are required. Seasonal staff may receive housing, bonuses, and benefits.

Qualifications

• One year operating room experience required.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Colorado or from a valid compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily patient flow within the OR to optimize care and safety.
• Delivers patient education to facilitate plan of care.
• Administers medications, performs treatments, and assists in procedures per safety guidelines.
• Completes patient charting including pathology and implant logs.
